All the eyeglass leashes are hand made by the Bashouto woman (South Africa).

The colors and choices of beads are composed by the tribal members. Materials such as wood, leather, self-made baked clay, bones, glass, metal and plastic are components of this very unique product. The beads are then strung on steel thread for added strength.

Everyone's efforts focus on one thing: providing for the 28 orphaned children. In the process the entire community benefits.
